- Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations & changes
| If you cancel | Refund |
|---|---|
| 4 or more days before | Full refund |
| 1–3 days before | 50% |
| On the day, or no-show | No refund |
- "4 days before" means we receive your message by 23:59 Japan time, 4 days before the experience date. To cancel, follow the instructions in your confirmation email.
- If fewer people will come (for example, 2 → 1), we refund the share for each person who drops out, using the table above.
- You can move to another open date once, free of charge, up to 4 days before. If you cancel after changing, the table applies to the new date.
- If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we can't extend the end time. If we haven't heard from you 30 minutes after the start, we'll treat it as a no-show.
- If we have to cancel because of the artist's illness, severe weather, a disaster or transport disruption, you can choose a full refund or a new date. In that case we can't cover travel or accommodation costs, unless the cancellation was caused by our intent or gross negligence.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with. How long it takes depends on your card issuer.
Terms of service
- About these terms. These terms apply when you book and join an experience offered by AMANEKU ("we").
- Your booking. Your booking is confirmed once payment is complete. We'll email you the date, time and venue.
- Who can join. Please ask us about bringing children. Guests under 18 must come with a parent or guardian. If you need any adjustments, such as a chair instead of sitting on the floor, let us know when you book. Just tell us what we need to know to help on the day.
- Instruments. The instruments belong to the artist and are precious to them. Please follow the artist's guidance. If you damage them on purpose or through gross negligence, we may ask you to pay for repairs.
- Photos and video. You're welcome to take photos and short videos during the experience and share them on your own social media. Please don't sell or stream full recordings of the artist's performance. If we take photos we'd like to use for promotion, we'll ask for your consent first.
- Conduct. We may stop the experience if a guest disturbs others or the artist, arrives intoxicated, or breaks the venue's rules. In that case we may not give a refund.
- Liability. If you suffer loss because of us, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the experience, except in cases of our intent or gross negligence. Please look after your own belongings.
- Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. Bookings made before a change follow the terms in place when you booked.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Kobe District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
Privacy policy
- What we collect. When you book, we ask for your name, email address, phone number (optional), country or region, number of guests, preferred language and any requests. Card details are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We never receive your full card number, though we may see the card brand and last four digits.
- How we use it. To take and confirm your booking, send you directions, answer your questions, process refunds and improve the experience. We'll only send news about new experiences if you agree to it.
- Sharing with the artist. We share your name, number of guests, language and requests (including any adjustments you need) with the artist leading your experience. We'll also tell you this on the booking form before you fill it in. Otherwise we don't share your information with third parties without your consent, unless the law requires it.
- Service providers. We use Stripe (provided in Japan by Stripe Japan K.K., part of the US-based Stripe, Inc.) for payments, Supabase (data stored on servers in Tokyo; operated by the US-based Supabase, Inc.) for booking records, and Gmail (Google LLC, US) to send emails. Information on US data protection rules is available from Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission (in Japanese). On request, we'll tell you what safeguards each provider has in place.
- How long we keep it. We keep booking records for 7 years after the experience date, then delete them.
- Security. Only our team can see booking information. Our admin tools run only on our own computers, and database keys are never made public. We choose service providers that handle personal data properly and check how they do so.
- Browser storage. This site saves a small setting in your browser to remember your language. We don't collect analytics data.
- Your rights. You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information, or to stop using it. We'll confirm your identity first. If you live in the EEA or the UK, you can also exercise your rights under local law.
